Glen Thomas

Glen Thomas is the Head of Regulatory Compliance and Interim Registrar for the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO). In this role, he leads the Regulatory Compliance teams responsible for administering and enforcing the Trust in Real Estate Services Act (TRESA).

Glen joined RECO in 2012 after a long career in the real estate industry. He became Manager of Complaints, Compliance, and Discipline in 2017 and was appointed Director of the Complaints Program in 2023. Prior to joining RECO, he worked as a sales representative and broker for more than 19 years, developing broad expertise across all areas of real estate practice. During his time in the industry, he chaired multiple local board committees, including Commercial, Arbitration, and Professional Standards.

Glen has made significant contributions to RECO’s ongoing mission to serve as a modern and effective regulator for Ontario’s real estate industry.
