Jean Lépine

Jean Lépine is RECO’s Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Effective December 1, 2025, he was appointed RECO’s Administrator by Ontario’s Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. On September 9, 2026, he was appointed as Interim CEO as the regulator advances its multi-year transformation.

Prior to his appointment, Jean served as the Chief Strategy Officer of another Administrative Authority, Ontario One Call, and served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Ontario French-Language Educational Communications Authority, known as TFO, for more than four years.

Jean has 20 years’ experience working in industry in Canada, the US and Europe and another 10 years in various roles within Canada’s Federal and Provincial Governments (Ontario). He has appeared before a parliamentary committee on legislative matters, on news programs and authored several articles on public policy topics.
