Michelle Plucas

Michelle Plucas is the Director of Audit and Inspection at RECO. In this role, she leads the Audit and Inspection team responsible for assessing brokerage compliance with the Trust in Real Estate Services Act (TRESA) and identifying emerging regulatory risks within Ontario's real estate sector.

Michelle joined RECO after a successful career in real estate brokerage operations and compliance. She brings more than 10 years of experience in brokerage administration, five years as a Compliance Officer, five years leading a compliance team as its supervisor, and three years managing RECO's Audit and Inspection program. Her extensive operational and regulatory experience provides a unique perspective on the challenges facing brokerages and the importance of effective compliance oversight.

Michelle has played a key role in advancing RECO's risk-based inspections approach and to RECO’s ongoing commitment to supporting a modern, transparent, and accountable real estate industry.
